SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – The county Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a bicyclist killed on Friday night as 22-year-old Jonathon Ramirez. Ramirez was riding his bicycle shortly after 11 p.m. Friday night when he was hit by a vehicle on the Grand Avenue off-ramp from Interstate 5 northbound in Pacific Beach. Ramirez was an art student who lived in Allied Gardens. According to authorities, he was taken the hospital following the accident. He died of head and neck injuries Saturday morning.
