HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA – A black Lexus RX 330 SUV flipped over this morning on the Interstate 405 highway at Beach Boulevard. The accident was reported just after 9 a.m. this morning. A 45 minute SigAlert was subsequently issued and then canceled at 10:13 a.m.
California Highway Patrol Officer Jeffrey Moscoso investigated the accident. He said that two other cars were also involved in the collision. Those cars were a Honda Odyssey van and a Ford Expedition. The driver of the Honda had to be cut out of the van. He was taken to Fountain Valley Hospital. The driver of the Lexus was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital. His car was blocking four lanes of traffic for some time after the accident. The CHP is currently investigating the cause of the accident, as well as the extent of the injuries.
