ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – A three car accident blocked five lanes of traffic on the Interstate 5 southbound freeway just north of Euclid Street in Anaheim this morning. A mother and her three children were riding in one of the cars involved in the accident, a white Chevy Tahoe. It is not yet clear what initially caused the accident, but it caused the Tahoe to roll several times.
According to California Highway Patrol officer J.L. Perdomo, all four occupants of that car were injured in the accident. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they removed the mother and children from the vehicle and put them all in two ambulances. All four were taken to area hospitals for treatment of various injuries. Their conditions were not immediately available, nor was information on passengers in the other vehicles. A SigAlert was issued at 7:39 a.m. for investigation. The lanes were all cleared by 8:20 a.m.
A serious personal injury will forever change the victim’s life. Physical recovery may take months or even years, and, in some of the most tragic cases, may never be possible. Although no amount of money can make up for the losses these serious personal injuries inflict, it is important that victims of serious personal injury be compensated for their medical expenses, loss of income, pain and suffering, as well as any future care that may be necessary.
