LAGUNA HILLS, CALIFORNIA – A woman was killed and her passenger was injured Wednesday morning when her sports car crashed in Laguna Hills. The woman was driving her 2003 Chevrolet Corvette at a high speed when she lost control of the car while turning off Lake Forest Drive onto Mill Creek Drive. According to Orange County Sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino, she had a perspective buyer for the car with her at the time.
The car hit a curb, careened off a tree and hit another tree before finally coming to a stop. The driver was identified as Amy Thomas. She was 29-years-old and a mother of four from Laguna Hills. The prospective buyer, a man in his late 20s, was taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.
