SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA- Authorities responded to a rollover car accident Saturday morning on the northbound Interstate 805 near Mira Mesa Boulevard. The accident blocked the slow lane and slowed traffic in the other lanes.

The collision was first reported around 9:30 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Hyundai and a black VW Jetta were involved in the accident. The Jetta was upside down on the right side of the freeway. There was debris scattered across all the lanes. Authorities were not immediately able to determine whether the occupants of the Jetta were injured or were able to get out of the car on their own.
