SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – A 24-year-old man from Escondido died Tuesday night when his car left the road in Rancho Bernardo and rolled over. The accident was reported just after 7 p.m. on Highland Valley Road at Pomerado Road. The car had been heading south when it left the road on a curve.
The car then flipped over and came to rest on its roof. The driver suffered severe head injuries. He died at the scene before authorities could get him to the hospital. The man’s name has not yet been released by the county Medical Examiner’s Office, pending notification of the family.
The cause of this tragic accident is still unknown. Our hearts go out to the family of the young man killed in this accident. If the accident was caused by faulty machinery, the family may be able to recover for the untimely death of this man.
