ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA – 42-year-old Khuong Nguyen was injured in a car accident after he was hit by a car in the parking lot of a Garden Grove hotel March 5. The incident occurred at the Ramada Inn Plaza on Garden Grove Boulevard when a Jeep Liberty SUV that was being driven by 58-year-old Dzung Truong.
The car looked out of control just prior to the accident. Truong told police that he tried to stop but his brakes failed and the car continued moving forward. It hit Nguyen and pushed him against the wall. He suffered serious leg injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved and no citations have yet been issued.
We hope that Nguyen will experience a full recovery from his injuries. A fractured bone can be a serious injury.
