SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – A man was killed early Thursday morning when he crashed his motorcycle into several parked cars in Mission Beach. The man was heading west on West Mission Bay Drive on his 2004 BMW motorcycle around 2:36 a.m. He suddenly hit a parked vehicle.
The 29-year-old driver ended up on the other side of the road and hit several other cars, according to police Officer Brad Ruff. The county Medical Examiner’s Office said he was thrown from his bike and died before he could be taken to the hospital. After the accident, a section of West Mission Drive near the Bahia Hotel was closed for several hours. The man’s name has not yet been released. Officials said he was wearing a helmet.
