SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – A 42-year-old woman was injured when she was hit by a vehicle in the Midway area on Sunday night. The woman was crossing the street at the intersection of Sports Arena and Rosecrans Street when the accident occurred.

According to San Diego Police, the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of a hip injury. Initial reports say she was crossing against the light when she was hit. Police are still conducting an investigation into the circumstances leading to the crash. The driver has not been charged at this time.
