CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA – Five people were injured during an accident Tuesday night that shut down the Intersection of East H Street and Intestate 805. Chula Vista Police said the accident involved three vehicles and occurred around 7:30 p.m.

The accident sent five people to the hospital. Two people suffered major injuries and were taken to the hospital by helicopter. The others had less serious injuries and were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The intersection of East H Street and I-805 was closed for several hours as officers investigated the circumstances leading to the accident.
