ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – An accident involving a school bus and a Dodge Ram pickup truck sent six students to the hospital Thursday morning. The accident occurred just after 1 p.m. on Disneyland Drive and Ball Road. An Anaheim Fire Department spokeswoman, Maria Sabol, said there were 63 students on the bus at the time of the collision.
The students were fourth and fifth graders. There were also two adults on the bus at the time. All of the students attend Francis Scott Key Elementary School in Anaheim. The injured students were all taken to the hospital. However, it is believed that their injuries were minor and they were taken mostly as a precaution.
Our thoughts are with the students injured in this accident. We hope that all of them will make a full recovery.
