SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – A 22-year-old pedestrian was hit by a bicyclist Sunday night in Torrey Pines and was injured. The woman was walking her dog east on Carmel Valley Road near Caminto Del Barco around 9 p.m. when she was hit from behind and knocked to the ground, according to San Diego Police Detective Dan Wall. After being hit, the victim got up and walked home.
However, she later went to the hospital and it was determined she had suffered a double skull fracture. Police were called to the hospital around 1 a.m. The woman was not able to provide a description of the bicyclist or his bicycle.
