SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Two people were trapped in an overturned sports utility vehicle on Monday night. They were trapped as a result of a two vehicle accident on North Harbor Drive hear Laurel Street. According to Maurice Luque, a spokesman with the San Diego Fire Rescue Department, the accident occurred around 7:30 p.m.
The two people were eventually extricated from the vehicle. One of the victims was taken to the hospital for treatment. The other person was uninjured. No further details about the accident were immediately available. A full investigation is pending.
