SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – A 5-year-old boy died Sunday night in San Diego after drowning in a pool. The incident was reported around 7 p.m. in the Rolando neighborhood. Police did not know how long the child had been in the pool.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate the boy but they were unable to do so. A police spokesman did not initially have any information about how the child got into the pool or who was with him at the time of the accident.
