MODESTO, CALIFORNIA – 24-year-old Aaron Murdaugh was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a vehicle exiting a local shopping center. The accident occurred last Tuesday, June 22. A 66-year-old man was leaving the shopping center from one of its north exits driving a Toyota sedan. Mardaugh was heading east on Briggsmore Avenue at the time.

The Toyota crossed the eastbound lanes of Briggsmore to make a left turn onto the westbound lanes. That is when Murdaugh’s motorcycle hit the Toyota on the driver’s side. Modesto police say that drugs and alcohol were not involved in this accident. They believe the driver of the Toyota failed to see the approaching motorcycle.
