SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – A suspected drunk driver crashed through a fence, crossed a field, and hit an electrical box on Thursday morning. The woman driver, who was in her 30s, was driving a Pontiac Firebird west on Paradise Valley Road near South Meadowbrook Drive in Bay Terraces when she drove off the road according to police.
Sergeant Ray Battrick said the driver suffered minor head injuries and was being held for observation. Charges against her were pending. Police also said a man riding in the car was taken to the hospital with major head injuries and a female passenger had minor injuries.
