VALLEY CENTER, CALIFORNIA- A 48-year-old Temecula man died Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle and slid into a truck on Lilac Road in Valley Center. The Medical Examiner’s Office reported that Bradley Robert Eckhardt was riding a 1969 Yamaha R350 southbound on Lilac around 10:30 a.m. when he collided with a Dodge Ram 250.
The Dodge Ram was towing a loaded horse trailer at the time. Eckhardt was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office said it is not yet known why he lost control of his motorcycle. A full autopsy is pending.
