SAN MARCOS, CALIFORNIA – As many as three people were reported injured during a fireworks incident at Bradley Park in San Marcos on Sunday. The San Diego Sheriff’s Department reported at least one person was taken to the hospital for treatment of burns.
The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. during the annual fireworks display at the park on Rancho Santa Fe Road and Linda Vista Drive. A Sheriff’s spokesman said fireworks fired sideways and hit a caretaker’s property in the park. Further details are not yet available.
